Professionals who have:

  • Completed three (3) years of satisfactory service,a Pennsylvania Department of Education-approved induction program & have twenty-four (24) postgraduate credits on an Instructional I certificate and wish to apply for their Instructional II certificate

OR

  • Completed a Masters Degree program & wish to advance on the "plus" salary scale are required to contact Laura Winemiller ext. 7556 in the Business Office, to obtain further instructions.

The application for an Instructional II Certificate must be completed on PDE's website, via the TIMS heading.

GUIDELINES FOR SALARY MOVEMENT

The District will approve salary increases as requirements are met enabling movement on the salary scale. Follow the procedures outlined below.

Level II (Permanent Certification)

  • Click here to access the “Application For Salary Movement.”

  • Complete the application.

  • Include your Name, Grade or Subject Assignment, and School.

  • Check “Level II Salary Movement”.

Salary Movement Instructions

  • For the Level II application, you must now go to PDE’s website, log in, open the TIMS folder, and proceed to apply for your permanent certificate through PDE.

  • Send a copy (via interschool mail) of the Level II certificate to the Department of Human Resources when approved by PDE in order to complete the salary change.

Master's Degree

  • Click here to access the “Application For Salary Movement.”

  • Complete the application.

  • Include your Name, Grade or Subject Assignment, and School.

  • Select “Master’s Degree Movement”.

  • Send a copy of the actual Master’s Degree to the Department of Human Resources when received in order to complete the salary change.

Master’s Degree Plus 15, 30, 45, or 60

  • Click here to access the “Application For Salary Movement.”

  • Complete the application.

  • Include your Name, Grade or Subject Assignment, and School.

  • Complete the information requested pertaining to the courses you completed in order to earn the additional 15 credits toward salary change.

  • Include in-service credits and information if applicable.

  • To complete the process, send original transcripts for the required 15 credits to the Department of Human Resources.
